Why Does E=mc2?: (And Why Should We Care?)(2009)
Brian Cox, Jeff ForshawThis book is very clearly written--for the most part. When it gets to the core of the book (as defined by its title), it falters. The logic is unclear and the formula for kinetic energy is introduced and the reader is supposed to take it on faith that since kinetic engergy E = 1/2 mv2 (squared), for mass, E = mc2 (squared). Sorry, I don't buy it.
Apart from that, the text is lucid (hence the 4 stars).
